An approach to all three basic elements that contribute to making a complete visual universe - Object, Universe and Life. OBJECT - puppet, mask, shadows; UNIVERSE - scenography, light and sound; LIFE - how these elements become animate. An exploratory laboratory, which examines through analysis, practice and experimentations, how a harmonious puppetry performance is created. Through improvisations and research on stage individually and in groups, participants will work on how to develop and realise an idea, all the way from scratch to the final desirable result. Role: Engagement & Participation Lead (Part Time)

Term: June 2025 - May 2026, with a probation period of 8 weeks. This is initially a fixed term contract with the option to extend / increase delivery depending on Moving Parts Arts fundraising successes and the candidate's own capacity.
Salary: £34,299 pro rata (£17,150 actual part time for 2.5 days or 20 hours a week)
Statutory sick and holiday pay, as well as an opt-out pension plan.
Based in: Moving Parts Arts office (Newcastle City Centre), at home / remotely when appropriate, and delivery at community hub locations and educational institutions in Newcastle and surrounding area.
